Wishup plans and prices
We read the Wishup pricing page in October 2026. These are the plans as published. Prices change, so check the live page before you budget.

| Elite VA | 2,999 USD | 1,799 USD per year | Prime plus a customer success manager, a backup assistant, budget and P&L handling, three custom automations and quarterly ROI audits |

Each VA plan shows 4 and 8 hour options. Wishup does not spell out on that page whether those are hours per day or per week, so ask for that in writing before you sign. The page does not mention a free trial. It says plans are month to month, you can cancel anytime and Prime and the dedicated bookkeeper include free replacement.
Where Wishup assistants work
Wishup's site says its India-based assistants work night shifts to cover US business hours of 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday. Only the 5,400 USD plan is a US-based assistant. If the person answering your clients must sit in the US, that is the price you compare against.
Wishup cost compared with hiring an assistant directly
The same monthly budget can be spent two ways. The direct column assumes you hire an ID-verified assistant at 20 USD per hour (inside the 14 to 24 USD band in our virtual assistant cost per hour guide) and pay the Growth plan at 49 USD a month billed yearly. For the US-based row we assume 28 USD per hour, a typical rate for a US-resident assistant.
| Wishup plan | Wishup price | Direct hire budget after the 49 USD plan | Hours it buys direct |
|---|---|---|---|
| Prime VA | 1,999 USD | 1,950 USD | 97.5 hours at 20 USD |
| Elite VA | 2,999 USD | 2,950 USD | 147.5 hours at 20 USD |
| US-based VA | 5,400 USD | 5,351 USD | 191 hours at 28 USD |
At 20 hours a week, an assistant works about 87 hours a month. That costs 1,740 USD plus 49 USD, or 1,789 USD, which is below Prime. You get a person you interviewed, with a rate you agreed, and you can keep the same person for years. What you give up is the managed layer: Wishup's replacement, manager and training are included in its price, while on a marketplace you run the hire yourself.
What the Wishup price buys
A managed plan bundles three things: the assistant's time, Wishup's recruiting and training, and a management layer that replaces someone who quits. That is a fair deal for an owner who wants to say "I need a VA" and never run an interview. The trade is that you do not choose the person from profiles, you do not see the pay split and you work through the account structure of one company.
Direct hiring is more work for a few weeks. You write the role, interview three to five people, run a paid two-hour trial and onboard. After that you are paying the assistant's rate and a flat platform fee, not a monthly multiple of it.
Wishup alternatives by budget and how you like to work
| Option | How you pay | Who chooses the person | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wishup | monthly plan, 1,999 to 5,400 USD | Wishup | owners who want a managed, trained assistant with a backup |
| Time etc | prepaid hours, 390 to 2,160 USD per month | Time etc | occasional US-based admin tasks without hiring |
| BELAY | flat monthly fee, quote after a call | BELAY | executives who want a fully managed US assistant |
| Aides | assistant's own rate, paid directly, plus a flat plan from 24 USD per month billed yearly | you, from ID-verified profiles | founders and small teams who want a set schedule in their hours at the assistant's real rate |
| OnlineJobs.ph | 69 or 99 USD per month subscription, salary paid directly | you | lowest salaries, if you can vet and work asynchronously |

Is Wishup worth the price for a small business
Wishup is worth it when you want a trained, managed assistant with a backup and you would rather pay a package than interview people. A founder who needs one shared assistant for inbox, research and light bookkeeping may be well served. It is harder to justify when you already know the work you are handing over. A part-time person on a fixed schedule costs less, and their name is on your contract.
Aides is built for that case. Every assistant passes a government ID and liveness check before a profile goes live, you search by skill and by the hours that overlap with your day, and you run a paid two-hour trial on your own work before hiring. If the person you hire will chase late payments, a tool like accounts receivable automation can do the reminders so their hours go to the calls that need judgment.
How to switch from Wishup without losing a week
List the recurring tasks and logins your current assistant uses. Hire the new person while your current month is still running, hand them the same task list and a mailbox at your own domain, and agree on a one-week overlap. Cancel Wishup after the handover, since plans are month to month.
How much does Wishup cost per month?
Wishup lists Prime VA at 1,999 USD per month, Elite VA at 2,999 USD and a US-based VA at 5,400 USD. A dedicated bookkeeper is 1,799 USD and managed bookkeeping starts from 300 USD. Each VA plan has 4 and 8 hour options, and paying yearly lowers the monthly cost.
Does Wishup offer a free trial?
The Wishup pricing page does not mention a free trial. It says plans are month to month and can be canceled anytime, and that Prime and the dedicated bookkeeper include free replacement. Ask about trial terms in writing before you commit.
Are Wishup virtual assistants US-based?
Only the 5,400 USD plan is US-based. Wishup's site says its India-based assistants work night shifts to cover US business hours. If you need a US resident, compare that plan with hiring directly and filtering by time zone overlap.
What is a cheaper alternative to Wishup?
Hiring an assistant directly from a marketplace that verifies identity, so you skip the agency margin. On Aides you pay the assistant's own rate plus a flat plan from 24 USD per month billed yearly. At 87 hours a month and 20 USD per hour that is about 1,789 USD.
Is Wishup worth it?
It is worth it if you want a managed, trained assistant with a backup and do not want to hire. If you know the work and want to keep one person long term, a direct hire usually costs less for the same hours.

Search assistants by skill and time zone, message the ones who fit and run a paid trial task before you commit.
