What changes the cost of a virtual assistant
Typical hourly ranges by role are on each role page, for example the executive virtual assistant, the data entry virtual assistant and the bookkeeping virtual assistant.
- The role. Data entry usually sits at the lower end, while executive support, bookkeeping prep and legal admin sit higher.
- Hours per week. Most buyers start with 10 or 20 hours and grow once the routine is set.
- Overlap with your day. Assistants who work your exact hours from a nearby time zone often ask a higher rate.
- Experience and tools. Years in the role and fluency with your software raise the rate and shorten onboarding.
Why there is no markup on Aides
Managed agencies bill you a higher hourly rate than they pay the assistant. On Aides you pay the assistant directly, so the full rate goes to the person doing the work, and your plan price stays the same whether you hire for 10 hours or 40.

How plan limits and billing work
Conversation limits count new conversations you start in each billing period. Deleting a conversation does not give a slot back, and your allowance resets with the next period.
If you need more, move to a higher plan at any time. The difference is charged right away and the new limits apply as soon as the payment goes through.
Cancel anytime in your account. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Payments are final, see the refund policy.

Can I try Aides before I pay?
Yes, once. You can run the search on the homepage without an account to see example matches with real overlap and cost math. Every plan is a paid subscription.
Does the plan include the assistant's pay?
No. The plan pays for Aides. You pay your assistant directly at the rate you agree, with no markup.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly billing?
Yes. Switch in your account. Moving to yearly or to a higher plan is charged right away.
What happens when I reach my conversation limit?
You can still reply in all existing conversations. To start new ones before the period resets, move to a higher plan.
Do you charge sales tax?
Taxes are shown at checkout when they apply to your location.
